U-Pick Info
🍓🍓 Strawberry information 🍓🍓

💁🍓 U-pick will begin Saturday June 29th.  The prices to pick your own strawberries are $2.25 per quart or $1.50 per pound. You can bring your own quart baskets to pick in or buckets  (bowls /pails) to pick by the pound. If you need to purchase containers here, we have containers that you can purchase BEFORE picking. The quart baskets are 10 cents each or we have buckets that hold 6 quarts or approximately 9 to 10 pounds and each empty bucket is $2. You still have to stop at the barn to pay for your berries AFTER you pick them.

📅 We don't necessarily have U-pick available every day, but on days that there are enough berries, we pick Mon-Sat from 6am-12pm (unless the patch fills up earlier) and we are always closed on Sunday. ⛪

⚖If you have heavier pails or buckets that you want to pick into, please stop at the barn to have the containers weighed prior to picking, so you're not paying for the weight of that.

🚘🛑🍓 If you are coming to pick your own strawberries, please stop at the barn on your way in to get directions so you know which field strawberries are being picked in each day, as we rotate fields quite often.

👀Please watch for tall plastic sticks when parking, they note the location of irrigation pipes, which you do not want to drive over. 💦

🚩 You MUST find the patch boss (usually wearing an AJ's sweatshirt, holding a handful of flags) to give you a row to pick on. You also need to get a flag to mark your spot on the row and remember to move it along as you go and leave it at the spot where you finish, so we can tell which areas have already been picked.

✅When you are finished picking berries, please unload all berries into your car, place the metal or wooden carriers back on the wagons, then head up to the barn to check out and pay.  💲🍓

The mornings are cool in the strawberry patch, so come prepared as the fields are usually wet with dew and you may be crawling around, but it does warm up when the sun comes out. 🥾🧥 👕 Rubber boots and layers are a good idea. 🦟There are also mosquitoes in the patch, so don't forget your bug spray!

🚫🚬  NO SMOKING in the strawberry patch.
